About Us

JEFFCO YouthWorks is a welcoming environment where young people ages 14-21 can learn how to conduct an effective job search, research a career, access job listings, use the resource center, find a volunteer opportunity, learn about educational opportunities and much more. Computers, workshops and, most importantly, friendly, professional staff support youth in making informed choices about jobs, education and careers. |
Our ultimate goal is to help people develop a plan to get a job, attend college, or enroll in a trade or apprenticeship program. Services are integrated and year-round, using a case management model that also utilizes community-based agency partnerships, the Jefferson County Public School District, and other educational institutions.
