About Us
JEFFCO YouthWorks is a welcoming environment where young people ages 14-21 can learn how to conduct an effective job search, research a career, access job listings, use the resource center, find a volunteer opportunity, learn about educational opportunities and much more. Computers, workshops and, most importantly, friendly, professional staff support youth in making informed choices about jobs, education and careers.
Our ultimate goal is to help people develop a plan to get a job, attend college, or enroll in a trade or apprenticeship program. Services are integrated and year-round, using a case management model that also utilizes community-based agency partnerships, the Jefferson County Public School District, and other educational institutions.
