| Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Information
The Workforce Investment Act is a federally funded voluntary program designed to help disadvantaged youth obtain financial support for education, employment and training. The funds are based on eligibility, and require the submission of a completed application with all required documentation and signed forms. Once your application is accepted, you'll be invited to attend an orientation meeting.
There are several eligibility areas:
- Food Stamp Recipient
- Foster Child or Homeless
- TANF/Public Assistance
- Low Income
- Individuals with a Disability
